Formed in 2008, the Enderby Concert Band was created to offer a relaxed and enjoyable musical experience for players of all ages. The band provides an opportunity for musicians who love to play but can’t always commit to the regular schedule of contesting bands, perfect for those who simply want to make music for fun and friendship.
We welcome all brass instrumentalists, from experienced players to those returning to music after a break. Our repertoire is broad and entertaining, featuring everything from classic favourites to film themes, pop arrangements, and traditional brass band pieces — something for every audience and occasion.
Each year, the band performs in three to four concerts, and brings festive cheer with Christmas carolling. We also occasionally enjoy taking part in entertainment contests for unregistered bands, keeping our performances fresh and exciting.
Rehearsals are held at Robjohn Hall, School Lane, NarboroughLE19 2GS every Thursday evening from 7:15pm to 9:15pm, including a friendly mid-rehearsal break for tea, biscuits, and a good chat!
The band is led by our Musical Director, John Randle, whose enthusiasm and musical expertise inspire every rehearsal and performance. Under his direction, the band continues to grow in confidence, musicianship, and community spirit.
